Sir , I bought the SImply lemonade from walmart in the end of February 2024 from walmart Manitoba , Canada . My kids were drinking and almost finished more than half of the bottle . , found a black insects floating in the end inside the bottle . This was such harmful and unbearable incident which is not expected from the company . For the consumer it is a very hazardous incident whi consuming your juice from so many years . I am extremely disappointed and above all both kids drank this . I want to make other consumer aware about the same .when my kids pour in glass they saw insect .

We love Simply Orange pulp free and have been drinking it for years. It is MUCH better than Tropicana which is what we used to drink.

Here's my question:

WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU STOP PROVIDING IT IN THE JUG WITH A HANDLE?

My thought is you are probably trying to save money on the packaging. But what about people who have difficulty LIFTING SUCH A BIG BOTTLE without a handle? I'm fairly healthy for my age, but what about people with arthritis whose hands and fingers are not so agile. Even a young person has trouble lifting the oversized container WITHOUT a handle.

It's so disappointing that companies make these kinds of decisions just to save money and giving no thought to the customer.

I don't mind paying more for the jug with a handle.

At least it's not a struggle each morning just to have my juice.

Sincerely,

Jane R. Shelton & Family

What has happened to Simply Orange Juice?

What has happened to Simply Orange Juice?
What has happened to Simply Orange Juice? - Image 2
Your juice has become so watered down that it does not taste like orange juice anymore and not worth the money. Is this your way to save money? It used to be a good product, but not anymore. I used to enjoy drinking Simply orange juice, but anymore. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Product change taste

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Simply Orange Juice High Pulp has changed! The High Pulp is no longer High in pulp, pulp content is low pulp and the flavor tastes watered down with added white sugar. This Orange Juice use to be like drinking a fresh orange from a tree. Sad that a great product is no longer a product worth buying!! Save your money and buy the cheaper brand. Also, I have been a long term customer that bought two to three bottles a week.

Reduced The Net Weight From 59 ounces to 52 ounces!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Long time loyal and frequent customer of Simply Orange, but noticed that they reduced the amount of juice in the bottle from 59 to 52 ounces. This is after a reduction from 64 ounces to 59 ounces. These decreases in product amount to a double digit price increase. Why not take it from 59 ounces to 57 ounces? I still would not like that but at 52 ounces - which is not conspicuous except for the tiny net weight amount on the front of the package as required by law - that is by far my tipping point for no longer buying the product. If they are going to do that, then how about a 20% reduction in price? Pepsi/Tropicana and others do the same thing, so now I buy the store brand orange juice in the carton that is 64 ounces and costs $1.79 compared to 52 ounces for over $3.00. The store brand is just as good, and I would not be surprised if Simply Orange actually makes it for them under the store brand name. I will not pay $1-$1.50 more just for a brand name which is comparable to the store brand anyway. Also, Simply Orange tastes diluted to me compared to the robust taste it had in the past. Are they cheapening their ingredients, too? Don't care what they say, it's my taste buds that count. Wouldn't believe a company that tries to trick its own customers, anyway. Always read the net weight before buying anything. My pasta sauce went from 30 ounces to 28, 26, now 24 and some are as low as 22. While not illegal, I find this deceptive, tricky, sneaky and an attempt to cheat the customer for their own gain. Thus, I do not buy these brands and alert others to what they are up to. A real shame. If they just realized it IS about the CUSTOMER and not about tricking them for their money, they would gain loyalty and make that money anyway. I am not buying it - the tricks/cheating, or their products. I strongly suggest you always check the net weight on everything you buy and make sure you are getting your money's worth. Sometimes they reduce the price and put on a "sale" for 10% less, but they are taking 20-30% of the product out of the package, so don't fall for that old trick. There are lots of alternatives. Show these companies you are voting with your money by NOT BUYING their products. Maybe when they see their sales and profits plummet, they'll get a clue, do a "bonus pack" and put back the 20+% they took out in the first place and keep it that way. I'd suggest they actually increase the amount of product they put in for greater value to the customer, but these days that might be too much to ask these "greed is good" mindless, moral-less corporate robots.

Ounces in your bottles

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have always only purchased Simply Orange juice products. NO MORE!! I have been outraged that you have only 52 ozs in your bottles vs all others at 59 ozs. It's bad enough that everyone went to 59 from 65, but you have added insult to injury. SHAME ON YOU! Sadly, I will no long purchase and be able to drink my favorite orange juice because you want to boost your profits. Do you truly think we're stupid (I would answer: yes, you do) and that we would not notice??!! I've ignored it for a long time...no longer. It's insulting. I'll certainly find another brand. Very sorry you felt you "had" to cost reduce...but...your loss! You can cost reduce, but now you'll lose your base and so negate your profit increases...! Corporate greed...what can I say. Weren't the recent tax changes sufficient??!!

They hope customers do not notice the tiny net weight in front on the package and pay the high price for less product. Don't buy any of the company's brands and show them who's the real boss. Hint: it's not them, it's the customer on whom they depend.

Miracle in a bottle

I usually don't believe in miracles in a bottle, but I think that you have one in your Simply Lemonade. You see, I have kidney stones and my doctor suggested that I drink lemonade and I tried others brands that I really didn't like and I felt that it did nothing for me. I still had pain in my kidney and urethra. I tried your brand and I felt the pain go away within a week of drinking your product every day and I will continue to drink this FOREVER!!! So please, please keep making this lemonade. It is truly my miracle in a bottle. Thank you so much for making this lemonade.

Simply Orange Juice - Orange Juice Review from Bellerose, New York

I must tell you I have been drinking alot of your products since I was a kid but you people who make the recipe changes or are in charge of that should be ashamed of yourselves these products go bad fast and the flavoring is not there very bitter it's time to go back to the original recipe because your products really sucks in today's world and I have heard this from people in grocery stores while I was online buying your products and I have heard it from friends and family i just threw a company party and it was embarrassing hen I heard people say this orange juice sucks you are not the only company that needs to go back to there original recipes every food product today has the same problem and that is why people are going organic and natural so shape up or close your doors bring back the original recipes because today between food changing and the cost still high it sucks and the technology hat ruined his world is a disgrace I'm sorry to have to say this

Deceptive labeling on Simply Orange - "Lemonade with Raspberry"

Simply Orange's Lemonade with Raspberry juice is deceptively labeled on the front as "Not From Concentrate" and the ingredients listed on the back are water, sugar, lemon juice and raspberry puree. "Not From Concentrate" usually means no water or sugar added to juice and this is dangerous to diabetics who must must avoid sugar. Usually "Not From Concentrate " juices cost more and when I see it on the front I can trust that it is only the juice from the fruit. Simply Orange fooled me since I've bought their "Not From Concentrate" orange juice and there is no water or sugar added. This deception has me mistrusting this company and I will never buy their products again.
